Komprex Ltd operates from a modern industrial premises based in Washington, Tyne & Wear, United Kingdom. We are well positioned next to a major motorway and 10 miles from a major international airport. Overnight carriers service us and when necessary we have a Company aircraft that can deliver urgently needed parts within a 700-mile radius of the factory. We are based in a regional economy that can provide competitive pricing.

We read CAD running IBM CATIA v4.2, I-DEAS Master and ProEngineer. We have 6 ISDN lines for rapid data transfer.

Tooling: Full facilities using LTM prepreg, epoxy and urethane tooling blocks. These materials can be CNC shaped to customer’s requirements and have a uniform and CTE finish. The programme of tooling supports such projects as aeroengine nacelles, fan cowls, radomes, racing car components, and motorcycle accessories and aircraft seats.

Autoclave: Capacity 60" – 160" (152cm – 406cm)

Temperature range up to 200°C: Pressure 100psi (7bar)

Fully programmable with detailed hard data output.

Oven: Capacity 48" x 48" x 180" (122cm x 122cm x 457cm)

Temperature range 60° – 180°C

Fully programmable with hard data output.

Bonded Store

We have a fully traceable and separate bonded facility for storing customer materials held on site.

Freezers

We maintain several freezers at –30° C and have bonded facilities off site to –40°C

Traceability

We maintain a complete trace of all raw materials using custom software.
